German luxury sports car manufacturer Porsche introduced the new version of its brand new electric SUV Macan and Taycan Sport in the Indian market. Manolito Vujicic, brand director of the company's Indian unit Porsche India, said at the auto expo 'Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025' that Porsche India wants to take it further this year through new products and expanded network. Porsche India sold a record 1,006 vehicles last year.
The company said that the new Macan BEV is now available in three model versions. Their price ranges between Rs 1.22 crore to Rs 1.69 crore. At the same time, the price of the new Taycan is currently between Rs 1.89 crore and Rs 2.53 crore. Vujicic said the company is expanding its presence in India to 13 cities by the end of this year. Currently the company is present in 10 Indian cities.
BMW India
Luxury car manufacturer BMW India has unveiled its first locally made electric vehicle 'X1' at the Auto Expo, with a starting price of Rs 49 lakh. This premium SUV was introduced at the 'Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025'. The BMW X1 long wheelbase allelectric model is produced locally at BMW Group's plant in Chennai. Speaking on the occasion, Vikram Pava, President, BMW Group India, said, “This is the perfect premium SUV for the growing aspirations of the new India. As BMW's first 'Make in India' EV, the X1 Long Wheelbase ushers in a new era of innovation and excellence. ”

At the same time, MercedesBenz has introduced its electric luxury model 'EQS Maybach SUV 680 Night Series' at a starting price of Rs 2.63 crore. MercedesBenz Bend also showcased the new concept CLA Class, the flagship car of the company's brandnew electric segment. The company is developing it from scratch. MercedesBenz also showcased the 'G 580' model with EQ technology which is the first fully electric version of the company's offroad stalwart GClass. The German luxury car company introduced these products on the first day of 'Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025'. Apart from this, it also introduced a new version of 'MercedesMaybach GLS 600 Night Series'.
