New Delhi. Apple retail stores in Mumbai and Delhi are getting positive response from Indian customers. In view of this, Apple said on Wednesday that the company will open more exclusive and branded stores in India.
Actually, the company has launched the iPhone 16 series in September this year itself. There was a crowd of buyers in both these Apple stores in India to purchase the new iPhone.
According to the information given by Apple, new retail stores will open in Bengaluru, Pune, DelhiNCR and Mumbai. However, no deadline has been given yet for opening these retail stores.
Deirdre O'Brien, Apple's senior vice president of retail, said, “We are excited to expand our team with plans to open more stores in India. We are inspired by the creativity and passion of our customers in India.”
He said, “Apple retail stores have played a special role in deepening the relationship with Indian customers. These stores have created an amazing magic of Apple on Indian customers.”
He added, “We can no longer keep customers waiting to purchase our exclusive products and services. We want to connect them with our exceptional, knowledgeable team members.”
Giving further information, the company said that the iPhone 16 lineup is being manufactured in India. The iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max made in India will soon be available to local customers and for export to other countries.
The company currently has two retail stores in India, located in Saket, Delhi and Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai.
