It should be noted that so far, only Apple Intelligence's writing tools are available in beta, and Apple has always said that some of its AI features won't be available until next year. The idea is that IT can turn off features if it has concerns about the use of company data with AI.
Addigy acts quickly
Announcing its support for the new restrictions, Addigy CEO Jason Dettbarn said: “While Apple Intelligence is an exciting development, many organisations are rightly concerned about the potential repercussions. Some do not allow AI on devices. Others want to fully understand its implications before deciding when, or even if, to enable it, and do not want to risk waiting until AI is available to try to manage it.”
Of course, since Apple Intelligence is still beta software, Addigy MDM is only available to organizations that are part of Apple’s AppleSeed for IT program, which allows users to test upcoming Apple releases in unique work environments.
