New Delhi . Users using 5G network are now facing less problems regarding call drops as compared to other networks.
According to a recent survey, users who have switched to 5G from another network are also getting good data speeds.
Online survey firm Local Circles said in a report that more than half of the users who switched to 5G networks have experienced a reduction in call drops and improvement in data speeds.
According to the survey, 53 percent of smartphone users say that call drops or connect conditions have improved after switching from 3G and 4G to 5G services.
About 30 percent of the users surveyed said that there has been no improvement in the call drop rate. 9 percent of users complained that there has been some decline in it. However, 5 percent of the users also said that the problem of call drops has increased further.
Local Circles claims that the survey received a total of over 47,000 responses from customers (smartphone users) across 361 districts, while the number of responses to each question varied.
This survey was conducted between 5 August and 10 October. About 60 percent of the users who were part of the survey said that data connection has also become faster due to 5G network.
These were those users who were earlier using 3G or 4G. After switching from 3G4G to 5G network, these users shared their experience from the old network to the new one.
According to the survey, the number of users experiencing fast data speeds has also increased to 60 percent in 2024, compared to 49 percent in the survey conducted last year.
