Punjab Cricket Association Colts and Delhi Challengers teams entered the finals

Punjab Cricket Association Colts defeated Haryana Cricket Association Colts by 16 runs to enter the final of the 29th All India JP Atre Cricket Tournament played at IS Bindra Cricket Stadium, Mohali today. Kunwar Kukreja (4 wickets) of Punjab Cricket Association Colts was declared winner Shri J.R.Kundal (Ex-IAS) and Commissioner of Punjab was the Chief Guest and gave the Man of the Match award to Kunwar Kukreja.

According to tournament organizing secretary Captain Sushil Kapoor, the final match will be played tomorrow Friday between Punjab Cricket Association Colts and Delhi Challengers at IS Bindra PCA Cricket Stadium, Mohali. Hon'ble Speaker of Punjab Vidhansabha Mr. Kultar Singh Sandhwan will be the chief guest at the prize distribution ceremony at 4.30 pm. The first semi-final match was played at IS Bindra Cricket Stadium, Mohali, in which Punjab Cricket Association Colts, batting first, scored 267 runs for 6 wickets in 38 overs due to rain and wet ground.
Opener Harnoor Singh India Under-19 World Cup: The player scored a brilliant 76 runs, Kartik Sharma scored 59 runs, Uday Pratap Saharan scored 53 runs. While Shabaz Singh scored an unbeaten 30 runs and Sukhdeep Bajwa scored 27 runs. On the bowling side, HCA Colts bowler Yashvardhan Dalal took 2 wickets, while Piyush Dahiya, Ishant Bhardwaj, Kanishk Chauhan and Lakshya Sangwan took 1-1 wickets. Chasing the target of 267 runs, Haryana Cricket Association Colts scored 251 runs for 9 wickets in 38 overs and the HCA Colts team fell behind by 16 runs. Vats scored the highest 37 runs, Yashvardhan Dalal scored 35 runs, Sarvesh Rohilla scored 33 runs, Mayank scored 29 runs, Piyush Dahiya scored 28 runs, Aditya Chaudhary scored 25 runs while Kanishk Chauhan scored 23 runs and captain Yuvraj scored 17 runs. From the bowling side, PCA Colts bowler Kunwar Kukreja took 4 wickets, Harjas Singh Tandon took 3 wickets while Manish Sheoran and Sohrab Dhaliwal both took 1 wicket each.
Delhi Challengers defeated Sony Cricket Club, Chandigarh by 5 wickets and entered the final in the second semi-final match played today at Mullanpur PCA Cricket Stadium. Mahipal Lomror of Delhi Challengers (83 not out in just 45 balls) was declared Man of the Match. The Man of the Match award was given by Mr. Anmol Sharda, BCCI Umpire and Mr. Deepinder Singh, PCA Pitch Quarator.

Batting first, Sony Cricket Club, Chandigarh scored 243 runs for 8 wickets in the allotted 28 overs due to rain and wet ground. Priyansh Arya scored 69 runs, Shiva Singh scored 48 runs, Yash Dhull scored 30 runs, Arjun Raparia scored 24 runs, Mayank Rawat scored 22 runs while Pramod Chandela scored 17 runs. On the bowling side, Delhi Challengers bowlers Ayush Jamwal and Pankaj Jaswal both took 2-2 wickets while Vikas Singh, Lalit Yadav and Vaibhav Arora took 1-1 wickets. Chasing the target, Delhi Challengers team achieved the target by scoring 247 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in 26.2 overs. Mahipal Lomror scored 83 runs in 45 balls including 6 sixes and 6 fours, Lalit Yadav scored 51 runs, Shivam Sharma scored 48 runs while Shakir Habib Gandhi scored 45 runs. In bowling, Sony Cricket Club bowler Harshit took 2 wickets, while Yash Dhul, Arun Chaprana and Mayank Rawat took 1 wicket each.
