Apart from captain and wicketkeeperbatsman Sanju Samson, Rajasthan Royals have retained Yashasvi Jaiswal, Dhruv Jurel, Ryan Parag, Shimron Hetmyer and Sandeep Sharma.
Rahul Dravid told Geo Cinema, “We had decided that we will retain six out of six players. We retained Sanju Samson, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Dhruv Jurel, Ryan Parag, Shimron Hetmyer and Sandeep Sharma. We took this decision because We have taken it because we have confidence in our players and their talent and we want to retain that core and move forward with that.”
On retaining Samson as the number1 pick, Dravid said, “Sanju Samson is our batsman, wicketkeeper and captain. He has been the captain of this team for many years. The former Indian batsman said that retaining the core players will provide stability to his team. He said, “When you retain six players, there is definitely stability.
