Chandigarh. Inspired by the talented youngsters of Minerva Academy, India Under17 team defeated Nepal 42 in the semifinals and took a step towards the title. Minerva's sensational Heemneichung Lunkim continued his scoring spree with a lastminute goal to seal the win.
Coming off the bench, Lunkim's impact was immediately visible as he scored a precise goal to add to India's lead. This brilliant performance cemented his reputation as a game changer in the tournament.
Also another important thing is that he can also be called a supersub with an impressive goalscoring ratio of scoring a goal every 10 minutes. Lunkim has played about 30 minutes as a substitute in the tournament so far and has scored 3 goals so far. All these goals have been scored after coming off the bench.
