Last year, they won the title by defeating Pakistan 21 in the final. Players Aamir Ali and Rohit, who participated in the competition last year, will now lead the team as captain and vicecaptain respectively.
After the opening match of their campaign against Thailand, India will play against Japan on November 28. After this, there will be a match against Chinese Taipei on 30 November. India's final group stage match against Korea will be held on December 1. Then, the Indian team will have to ensure a top two finish to reach the semifinals to be held on December 3.
