India tightened the noose on Perth Test, Australia's score in response to the target of 534 runs – 1616


Perth. In the first test match of the BorderGavaskar Trophy, the Indian team has tightened its grip on host Australia. By lunch break on the fourth day of the Perth Test match, India has fallen Australia's sixth wicket. In this match, Australia has got a target of 534 runs to win.

While chasing this target, three wickets of Australia fell in the third session of the third day itself. At the beginning of the fourth day, Mohammad Siraj gave a big blow to Usman Khawaja by getting him caught by Pant. Khawaja contributed 4 runs in this innings.

After this, Travis Head and Steve Smith tried to build a partnership and both took the team's score to 79. Before lunch, India got another big success when Siraj got caught out by Pant, ending Smith's innings of 17 runs. Steve Smith faced 60 balls before getting out and did not hit a single boundary.

Meanwhile, Travis Head has scored his brilliant halfcentury and he was out after scoring 89 runs off 101 balls with 8 fours.

Indian bowlers have taken advantage of the psychological target of 500 plus and the new ball very well in the second innings against Australia. Captain Jasprit Bumrah has dismissed two players. While Mohammad Siraj has taken three wickets. The Perth Test has proved to be much better for Mohammed Siraj, who is struggling with poor form, where he is not only taking wickets but has also managed to take wickets at important times.

Earlier, India's second innings was declared at the score of 487 runs for 6 wickets amid centuries from Yashasvi Jaiswal and Virat Kohli. Virat Kohli contributed an unbeaten 100 runs while scoring the third Test century of his career. Yashasvi Jaiswal also scored 161 off 297 balls. Apart from this, KL Rahul had played an inning of 77 runs.

This is the first Test match of the fivematch Border Gavaskar Trophy which seems to be going in favor of India. This series is very important for India to win the World Test Championship.
