Organizing Secretary Dr. Arun Kumar, while giving information about the prequarter final matches, said that in the prequarter final of Pool A, Barkatullah University, Bhopal defeated Rajasthan University, Jaipur 20. In the prequarterfinals of Pool B, Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj University, Nagpur defeated Mumbai University, Mumbai 21 to enter the next round. In the prequarterfinals of Pool C, Rani Durgavati University, Jabalpur defeated MIT World Peace University, Pune 20, while in the prequarterfinals of Pool D, Gujarat University, Navrangpura defeated Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University, Patan 20.
