Arshdeep took nine wickets in the match, Suryakumar's bat did not work again


Anantapur. Giving his best bowling performance in firstclass cricket, Arshdeep Singh took six wickets for 40 runs in the fourth innings against India B. Arshdeep's brilliant bowling helped Shreyas Iyerled India D team win the final round of the Duleep Trophy.

Apart from Arshdeep, Vidarbha fast bowler Aditya Thackeray also took four wickets and bowled out the entire India B team for just 115 runs.

Suryakumar Yadav, who returned from a thumb injury, was not able to play a big innings in both the innings. He scored five runs in the first innings and 16 runs in the second innings before falling to Arshdeep. Arshdeep had also taken three wickets during the first innings, thus he took a total of nine wickets for 90 runs in the entire match. This was only the second fivewicket haul for Arshdeep.

In India B's second innings, Nitish Reddy was the only batsman who tried to stay at the crease and remained not out after scoring 40 runs. However, no other batsman supported him, due to which India B had to face a huge defeat of 257 runs.

In this match, Ricky Bhui scored the most runs for India D. Bhui, who scored 56 runs in the first innings, scored the most runs in the second innings, 119. When he came to bat in the second innings, his team was struggling after losing three wickets at a score of 18, but his aggressive innings pulled India D out of the difficult situation. Bhui had also scored a century in his previous match.

When the game started on the fourth day, Bhui was playing on a personal score of 90. After this, he completed his 19th first class century. On the third day, India D had scored 244 runs for the loss of five wickets, after which 59 more runs were added on the fourth day. However, Saransh Jain from his team did not come to bat due to some injury.

India B's team collapsed in the beginning before they could even try to reach close to the target. Three of their batsmen were dismissed in the eighth over itself. Mushir Khan, who had scored 181 runs in his first Duleep Trophy match, returned to the pavilion on a score of zero. This was the third time in the last five innings that he was dismissed on a score of zero.
