Organizing Secretary Dr. Arun Kumar said that all the eight teams that reached the quarterfinals of the tournament have qualified for the Khelo India University Games. The following tournaments and the country's top eight university teams have qualified for the Khelo India University Games:

Quarterfinal matches were played between these eight teams on the fourth day of the tournament. The eight teams that had qualified for the Khelo India University Games demonstrated their superiority in the quarterfinals of the tournament.

Organizing Secretary Dr. Arun Kumar said that in the first quarterfinal match, Lovely Professional University defeated Punjabi University, Patiala by 2210. Shri JJT University defeated Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University, Jaunpur by 4224. In the next match, Guru Kashi University defeated Panjab University, Chandigarh by a margin of 3721.
Shri JJT University, Jhunjhunu, Lovely Professional University, Phagwara, University of Kota, Kota and Guru Kashi University, Bathinda made their place in the last four between which semifinal matches were played.

In the first semifinal, Shri JJT University, Jhunjhunu defeated University of Kota, Kota by a margin of 4025 to reach the final. Whereas, in the second semifinal, Lovely Professional University, Phagwara defeated Guru Kashi University, Bathinda by a margin of 2317 to reach the final. Everyone is eagerly waiting for the final match of the tournament, which is likely to be a very exciting Kabaddi battle for the title between the hosts Shri JJT University, Jhunjhunu and Lovely Professional University, Phagwara.
On this occasion, Shri JJT University President Dr. Devendra Singh Dhull and Chairman Dr. Vinod Tibdewal registered their presence and motivated the players.
