Vodafone Idea has secretly increased the price of one of its recharge plans. Just 5 months after making the plan expensive in July, the company has increased the price of the plan. Let us tell you that in July, all three private telecom companies Airtel, Jio and Vodafone Idea (Vi) had increased their plans by 22 percent. All three telecom companies have benefited from this. According to recent reports, the average revenue per user (ARPU) of all three private telecom companies has reached a record. However, the userbase of the companies has suffered due to this. The number of users of private companies has decreased by lakhs every month.
Plan made expensive again
Vi had launched a data pack worth Rs 19 in June last year. In this data pack with one day validity, users got the benefit of 1GB data. In July, the company had made this plan costlier by Rs 3 and made its price Rs 22. Now once again the price of this plan has been secretly increased by Re 1. This recharge plan of Vodafone-Idea is now available for Rs 23.
Apart from this, Vodafone Idea also has a data pack of Rs 26, in which users get the benefit of 1.5GB data. Both these data packs of Vi are especially for those users whose daily data has been exhausted and they need data in emergency. However, this is not the first time that Kumar Mangalam Birla's company has made a sudden change in its recharge plan.
Revised two more plans
Even before this, the company has reduced the validity of the Rs 289 prepaid plan. Earlier, 48 days validity was offered to the users in this recharge plan. The company has now reduced its validity to 40 days. Apart from this, the earlier validity of 56 days in the recharge plan of Rs 479 has been reduced to 48 days. Apart from this, the data available in the plan has also been reduced from 1.5GB to 1GB.
