The surprising thing is that in this video the husband was addressed as 'lazy, fucking and stupid husband'. As soon as this video reached social media platforms, people expressed strong objection to it.
The company apologized
The National Council for Men Affairs also strongly opposed this advertisement of Flipcard. Seeing the growing protest, the video was immediately removed by Flipkart. However, the company is facing severe criticism for such advertisements. After removing the video, Flipkart expressed regret and said that it was posted simply by mistake. The company said that as soon as we realized our mistake, we removed it and it will never happen again in future.
