This special service of BSNL will be stopped from tomorrow, millions of users will be affected – Top News Bulletin

BSNL is going to stop its special service from tomorrow i.e. 15th January. The government telecom company has taken this big decision regarding its 4G network expansion. The closure of this service is going to affect lakhs of BSNL users. Let us tell you that in June this year, the government telecom company is going to launch its 4G service at Pan India level. After the launch of BSNL's 4G service, crores of users in the country will start getting better connectivity.

Deadline is 15th January

BSNL has decided to completely shut down its 3G service in Bihar Telecom Circle. For this, the deadline has been given till tomorrow i.e. 15th January. BSNL has completed 4G service upgrade in many districts including Patna, the capital of Bihar. The company had stopped 3G service in Motihari, Katihar, Khagaria and Munger in the first phase. Now 3G service will be stopped in Patna and other districts of the state.

Upgrade SIM to 4G

This is going to affect users having 3G SIM cards. After the service is stopped, they may face difficulty in using data. For this, users will have to upgrade their SIM card to 4G. BSNL is upgrading its users' SIM cards to 4G/5G for free. For this, users will have to go to the nearest telephone exchange or customer service center of BSNL. 4G SIM card will be available after necessary document verification.

3G is being shut down phasewise

Apart from Bihar, BSNL is phasing out 3G service in other telecom circles of the country. Instead of this, 4G network is being deployed. After the launch of BSNL's 4G service, users got better connectivity and internet speed as compared to 2G/3G. Since the plans of private companies became expensive in July last year, lakhs of users have ported their numbers to BSNL. After the network of the government telecom company is upgraded, the users will start getting better connectivity, which will affect the private telecom companies also. Due to expensive plans, users can switch to BSNL.
