Ever since private telecom companies have increased the prices of their recharge plans, BSNL is in trouble. Due to cheap plans, lakhs of people have shifted towards BSNL. Recently, BSNL has also announced that it has no plans to increase the prices of its recharge plans in future. This news has brought joy to those users who have shifted to BSNL or are preparing to shift.
BSNL is currently busy in repairing the 4G network rapidly. The company is upgrading its towers to 4G. People are switching to BSNL for cheap recharge plans but many users continue to face problems regarding the network. BSNL has also started 4G service in many cities. If you are using BSNL SIM but you are not getting proper network connectivity, then there can be many reasons behind this.
This could be a big reason for BSNL 4G not working
A major reason behind lack of proper network in BSNL 4G or low internet speed can also be the spectrum bands received by the company. Let us tell you that BSNL has been provided two spectrums of 700MHz and 2100MHz by the Department of Telecommunications i.e. DoT. BSNL is launching 4G service in the initial phase through this spectrum.
Let us tell you that the capacity of 2100MHz spectrum band is quite limited which can be a major reason for interruption in the network. Apart from this, the 700MHz band owned by the company is mainly for 5G network. But, this spectrum has been given to BSNL for both 4G and 5G services.
If you want to get high speed internet connectivity in BSNL 4G, then for this you will have to use the SIM in a 5G smartphone. The 700MHz frequency band available with BSNL is completely suitable for 5G. In such a situation, in 5G smartphone, you will get both good network connectivity and internet speed on BSNL SIM.
