iPhone users are going to get many new features soon. These features have been seen in iOS 18.2 beta version. Many tasks will be done through Face ID
The beta version of iOS 18.2 includes the ability to share location with trusted people and support for Face ID for trusted computers. Soon all these features will be available in the stable version also. According to the report of 9To5Mac, Apple is soon going to simplify its security features. Users will soon no longer need a PIN and password to trust a new computer. They will also be able to do this through their Face ID.
The purpose of adding Face ID biometric authentication is to make it easier for the user to log-in to any device as well as to make it more secure. According to the report, currently this feature has been rolled out for some beta users. It took Apple 10 years to integrate Face ID into 'Trust a new computer'. For the last 10 years, users were able to authenticate new computers only with PIN or password.
