Jio has recently launched two cheap recharge plans for its millions of users without data. Reliance Jio has launched these plans according to TRAI guidelines, in which users will get the benefit of free SMS with unlimited calling. However, in these two plans of Jio, users will not get a special facility. This step of Jio is no less than a shock for more than 45 crore mobile users of the company.
This special facility will not be found
According to Telecomtalk's report, users will not be able to recharge separate data packs separately in both Jio's recently launched voice only plans. Jio Support has officially confirmed this. This means that if you have recharged your number with Jio's voice only plan, then you will not be able to recharge any data pack on your number.
TRAI, in its guidelines released last month, directed the telecom companies to launch an affordable recharge plan for 2G feature phones without data, so that they do not have to buy expensive data with unnecessary data. Along with Jio, all private telecom companies have launched 84 days and 365 days validity voice and SMS only plans for users.
Jio support confirmed
Jio Support said that the data booster or data ad-on pack cannot be recharged with those plans that already have a voice and SMS plan of Rs 448. This recharge plan of Jio comes with 84 days validity. In this plan, users get unlimited calling on any number across India as well as free national roaming and 1000 free SMS.
Live care
If Jio users ever need internet, then they will not be able to club with data packs with this plan. Apart from this, Jio also has a voice and SMS only plan of Rs 1,849. 336 days validity is available in this plan. Users will get the benefit of 3,600 free SMS with unlimited calling in it.
