Android 15 has been released by Google. Now with the new Android system, smartphones have become even more advanced. Google has given many features in Android 15. Some such features have also been added to Android 15 which makes your smartphone secure. Google has now given Theft Detection Lock feature to its users. As the name suggests, it is a theft detection feature that locks the phone if it is stolen.
Apart from Theft Detection Lock, Google has also rolled out two new security features named Offline Device Lock and Remote Lock. Let us tell you in detail about these security features.
Theft Detection Lock Feature
Google's new Theft Detection Lock feature immediately locks the phone if it is stolen. This means that now if your phone is lost or stolen, your personal data will be completely safe. No other person will be able to access your personal data.
According to Google, as soon as a thief runs away with your phone or takes it on a bike, the smartphone senses that moment and locks it. In such a situation, no one will be able to miss use of your data. Google says that this feature is available in all Android devices. However if you have a phone and tab running on Android Go then it will not work on it.
Offline Device Lock and Remote Lock
Google has also provided Offline Device Lock and Remote Lock feature for Android users. According to the company, Offline Device Lock will work when your phone remains offline for a long time. In such a condition it will automatically lock the phone. In Remote Lock, if your phone is stolen, you can immediately lock your device through another phone.
