Know how many SIMs are active
- For SIM card information, first go to https://www.sancharsaathi.gov.in/ website.
- On the website you will have to click on the option of Citizen Centric Services.
- On this option you will get the option of Know Mobile Connections (TAFCOP). Click on it.
- As soon as you click on TAFCOP, you will reach a new page. Here you will have to fill your mobile number, enter captcha and login with OTP.
- After verification, you will be shown on the screen all the numbers which will be active on your Aadhar card.
- If you receive a number that is not yours, you can report it by going to Not My Number.
DoT tightened rules
To stop the ever increasing cases of online scams and fraud, the Department of Telecommunications is continuously implementing new rules. Recently, DoT has also tightened the rules for purchasing SIM cards. Recently, a new campaign has been started by TRAI to eliminate the problem of fake calls.
