BSNL has now launched its Internet Protocol based IFTV in another state. In this service of BSNL, you will be able to watch more than 500 live TV channels for free even without a set-top box. The government telecom company claims that in this, users will be able to enjoy live TV channels in HD quality on broadband connection. Not only this, you can also use this IFTV of BSNL on old LCD or LED TV. For this you will have to install Fire Stick in your TV.
Service started in Gujarat
BSNL, while sharing the information through its official X handle, said that IFTV service has now been launched in Gujarat Telecom Circle. Before this, it has been launched in Madhya Pradesh and Tamil Nadu as well as Punjab. BSNL has partnered with Skypro for this in Punjab Telecom Circle. The company had announced this service in the India Mobile Congress (IMC) held last year. Not only this, BSNL has recently launched Direct-to-Mobile (D2M) service i.e. BiTV in Puducherry. In BiTV, mobile users will be able to enjoy more than 300 live TV channels for free.
More than 500 live TV channels
The government telecom company said in its social media post that through IFTV service you will enjoy digital entertainment with seamless connectivity. This is India's first fiber based Internet TV service, in which you can enjoy more than 500 live TV channels and premium PayTV content in crystal clear i.e. live TV channels without buffering. For this, BSNL Bharat Fiber users will be given the benefit of IFTV service without any extra charge.
4G, 5G service
BSNL can launch its 4G and 5G services across the country this year. For this, the company is installing more than 1 lakh new mobile towers across the country. Out of this, more than 60 thousand mobile towers have been installed. Apart from this, the company is going to stop its 3G service from January 15. After January 15, BSNL users will not get 3G network. The company is upgrading these mobile towers to 4G.
