BSNL is offering fancy mobile numbers to its users. These days, the government telecom company is competing with private telecom operators Airtel, Jio and Vi in every aspect. After the plans of private companies became expensive in July, lakhs of users have ported their numbers to BSNL. The company is working on a war-footing to provide superfast 4G service across the country. The company has installed thousands of new mobile towers, due to which users have started getting better connectivity. Besides, it is also preparing to launch 5G service by June next year.
BSNL has started fancy number scheme for its users. In this, users can buy VIP mobile numbers of their choice. However, for this the telecom company has set the condition of e-auction. If you also want the number of your choice from BSNL, then you can book your number by participating in the e-auction. BSNL Chennai has shared this information through its social media handle. Users of different telecom circles of the country can book their favorite number till October 28.
Terms and conditions of BSNL e-auction
Users can choose their favorite mobile number by participating in the e-auction. To get VIP number, it is mandatory for users to have Indian citizenship. To participate in bidding, registration fees will have to be paid. Once qualified in bidding, it cannot be changed or canceled. Bidding of numbers will be done in H1, H2 or H3 categories. A secret PIN will be issued to the users participating in the bidding. If users do not win in the bidding, their registration fees will be refunded in the next 10 days.
How to participate?
For this you will have to go to BSNL website (https://eauction.bsnl.co.in/).
After this select your telecom circle and register yourself.

After completion of the registration process, fill the required information and proceed.
On the next page you will see the list of VIP numbers available for bidding.

After qualifying for bidding, if your bid is successful, the chosen VIP number will be allotted to you. Otherwise the registration fee will be refunded to you.
