According to TRAI's report, in the month of July, the country's number one telecom company Jio lost 7 lakh customers. On the other hand, 16 lakh customers of Airtel left it. While there were about 7 lakh customers who left Vi. While all three companies had to face loss of customers in the month of July, on the other hand BSNL had a great time. In July, BSNL added 29 lakh new customers.
According to TRAI, in the month of July, there were about 1 crore 30 lakh users who had applied for number porting. Let us tell you that earlier in the month of June, about 1 crore 10 lakh people had applied for porting mobile numbers.
What is the reason behind the increase in BSNL subscribers?
There can be many big reasons behind the sudden increase in BSNL subscribers. Ever since private companies have increased the prices of their recharge plans, users are looking for cheaper plans. At present, BSNL is the only company that is offering plans at the old price. Due to cheap plans, people are shifting to BSNL in large numbers.
4G network announced
Another big reason is the announcement of 4G network by BSNL. BSNL is rapidly installing 4G towers at this time. The company has installed towers at many sites in the country. The company can fully launch 4G service by June-July next year. In such a situation, users are hopeful that 4G network service can be available at a cheaper price in the future.
