Researchers of IIT Kanpur have developed such technology, due to which Indian Army soldiers will become 'Mr. India' for enemy radar. This technology can make anything disappear just like Anil Kapoor's film 'Mr. India' released in the 80s. IIT Kanpur has named this stealth system 'Analakshya'. Developed entirely on indigenous technology, this technology absorbs the waves coming from radar. Due to this technology, Indian Army soldiers along with other objects almost disappear.
MSCS Technology
IIT Kanpur said in its press release that Analakshya is a groundbreaking stealth material surface cloaking system (MSCS) technology, which has been designed in such a way that it makes any object almost invisible. Because of which no radar can detect them. This stealth technology is going to be very useful for defense and national security.
Will disable enemy radar
Researchers and students of IIT Kanpur team have developed this indigenous technology. It is a textile based broadband metamaterial microwave observer. It has a unique ability, which absorbs radar waves and spreads them in a wide spectrum. This disables the synthetic aperture radar (SAR) aperture. This technology will especially help the Indian Army to hide from radar controlled missiles.
use of indigenous technology
90 percent of the materials used in this indigenous technology have been prepared in India. The research team of IIT Kanpur has tested this technology in different operational conditions between 2019 and 2024. The license of this technology has been given to Meta Tatva System Private Limited, which will do the manufacturing work so that it can be given to the Indian Army in future. This technology will help in protecting the Indian Army from enemy radar during modern warfare and will be very useful for national security.
