Elon Musk is preparing to buy another social media platform. Musk bought Twitter in 2022 for $44 billion. After this Musk changed the name of Twitter to X. After purchasing this social media platform, Tesla CEO Elon Musk has now decided to buy TikTok. This has been claimed in a report by Bloomberg. The Chinese company is preparing to sell its app business in America. Under the new rules of the US government, TikTok may be banned from January 19.

Threat of ban on Tik-Tok

In fact, last week on January 10, the US Supreme Court heard the argument of the Chinese app TikTok. The US government called the Chinese app and its parent company Bytedance a threat to national security and asked for an immediate ban on it. At present, Tik-Tok has 170 million i.e. 17 crore active users. This app is said to be under the influence of the Chinese Communist Party, which may threaten America's national security. TikTok has been partially or completely banned in many countries of the world including India.

Under the new rules in America, TikTok can be banned from January 19. Bloomberg's report claims that TikTok's US unit could be in a deal with Elon Musk. There is a possibility of a deal between Tesla CEO and Bytedance regarding this. However, this has only been speculated in the report. At the same time, TikTok spokesperson has refused to comment, calling it a fabrication.
