Whereas wild turmeric is found in South Asian forests. It grows naturally and is not cultivated. Local people collect it for their own use. It has a very deep earthy taste and colour. Uses of Kasturi Turmeric
Musk turmeric is mostly used in skin related cosmetics. The specialty of Kasturi turmeric is that it provides many benefits to the skin. Musk turmeric works to soften the skin, clear the complexion, reduce acne, remove blemishes and give a natural shine. Raw turmeric has anti-inflammatory properties that reduce swelling. Additionally, the chemical composition of Kasturi Turmeric contains essential oils and bioactive compounds like curcumin that make it rich in antiseptic, antibacterial and anti-aging properties.
Benefits of applying Kasturi Turmeric on skin
Remove freckles- Use of Kasturi turmeric is considered good to remove pigmentation. For this, mix 1 spoon of musk turmeric with some milk and apply it on the face and after 10 minutes wash the face with water.
