How to clean a dirty-sticky chimney?
Use caustic soda- The easiest way to clean a chimney is with caustic soda. Easily available in the market. Chimney and sticky things can be cleaned with caustic soda. Remove the filters to clean the chimney. Heat water in a vessel and fill the tub or bucket with this hot water. Put chimney filters in this water. Now add caustic soda in water and leave it to soak for about 1 hour. Caustic soda will remove all the dirt on the chimney filter with water. Wearing gloves, take out the filter from the water and clean it with the help of a brush by adding surf or soap.
Clean with detergent- Some people clean the chimney quickly. Due to which the chimney does not get very dirty. In such a situation, take out the filters installed in the chimney and put them in hot water. Then clean the chimney with the help of brush and detergent. For this you can also use any liquid dish washing soap.
Use of baking powder- You can also clean the chimney with baking powder. For this, take out the chimney grates and sprinkle baking soda on them. Now make a solution of vinegar, salt and hot water in water and pour it on the chimney filters. After some time, clean the chimney with the help of a brush.
