Today we are telling you how to make idli prepared from rava i.e. semolina. You can also call it instant idli. You can prepare and eat tasty Rava Idli in just 10 minutes. For this, you will neither need to buy batter from the market nor make the batter by soaking pulses and rice in advance. You can prepare idli quickly with just curd and semolina. Recipe of Rava Suji Idli: (Instant Rava Suji Idli Recipe)

  1. To make idli from semolina, first take 1 cup of fine semolina and put it in a bowl. Now add half a cup of curd in this bowl and mix it with semolina. Now add 1 tsp salt and 3/4 cup plain water.

  2. Mix everything well and then cover the batter and keep it to set for some time. Leave the Rava Idli batter to set for 30 minutes.

  3. Meanwhile, heat the idli maker and grease the mold with light oil. Keep water in the idli maker to heat. Now mix the batter well once.

  4. Now add 1 tsp eno to the batter and mix the batter. As soon as you add eno, the batter will start rising slightly and immediately pour the batter in the mold and place the idli in water. Now close the lid and cook the idli on medium flame for 15 minutes.

  5. Check the idli by inserting a fork, knife or toothpick into it. If the idli is sticking then understand that it needs further cooking. If the knife comes out without sticking, then understand that the idli is cooked several times.

  6. If the idli is cooked, remove the idli from the edges with the help of a knife and then keep it in a vessel. Delicious Rava Idli is ready for which you will neither need to buy batter nor soak the dal and rice.

  7. Eat semolina rava idli with coconut chutney, peanut chutney and sambar. If you want, you can also fry these idlis. Idli fried with onion and capsicum also tastes very tasty.
