If you also do not want to buy adulterated sweets sold in shops on Diwali, then you must follow this recipe of Doodh Peda at home. To make Doodh Peda, first of all you have to put half spoon of ghee in a non-stick pan. Now add half a cup of milk in the pan and let it heat. You also have to add one cup of milk powder in hot milk. After this, mix milk and milk powder well on low flame.
Follow this process
To make melt-in-the-mouth Doodh Peda, you have to keep stirring the mixture continuously. Cook the milk on medium flame only. Gradually this mixture will become thick. After about one to two minutes, this mixture will become thick and sticky, then you have to add half spoon of ghee in it. Cook this mixture until it starts separating from the pan.
Mix sugar and cardamom powder
To cool this mixture, transfer it from the pan to a bowl. When this mixture cools down slightly, then you have to add half spoon cardamom powder and five spoons of powdered sugar in it. The batter for making peda is ready. You have to knead this batter well until it becomes smooth. Before giving the shape of pedas to this batter, check the sugar level.

After giving this batter the shape of a peda, you have to put a chopped pistachio in the middle of each peda. The guests coming to your house will like the taste of this Doodh Peda very much. If you want, you can store these trees in an air tight container. You can consume it by keeping it in the fridge for about a month.
