Black gram is considered very beneficial for health. If you eat gram for breakfast in the morning, then the protein deficiency of the whole day can be fulfilled. Eating black gram helps in weight loss. People eat gram in different ways. If you want, you can soak gram and eat it raw. Some people boil gram and eat it by adding raw onion and tomato. Some people boil gram and then fry it and eat it. Today we are telling you how to boil and fry gram. You can use onion and tomato in it or just add spices and fry it.
Chickpea Fry Recipe

First of all, take black gram and soak it in water overnight, like you soak chickpeas and kidney beans. Now wash gram with clean water in the morning. Put gram in the cooker and boil it by adding some water as per requirement. To boil gram, use 2 whistles on medium flame.

Now take a pan or kadai and add 1 teaspoon mustard oil in it. Add asafoetida and cumin in oil and crackle. Now add chopped green chillies. If you like onion and tomato then add half finely chopped onion in oil and cook. After the onion turns golden brown, add 1 finely chopped tomato.

Take out the gram and filter the water completely through a strainer. Now first add all the ground spices like turmeric, salt, coriander powder, chaat masala, garam masala in the oil. Now add gram in it. Cover and cook the gram for about 5-7 minutes. When the masala and gram are mixed, turn off the gas.

Delicious chana fry is ready. Add some finely chopped green coriander over it. Put 2-4 pieces of long ringed ginger on gram and eat them for breakfast. If you want, you can fry gram without onion and tomato by adding only green chillies. Gram prepared in this way tastes very tasty.
