There will be development of 50 tourist places in the country:
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced the Union Budget 2025 on Saturday and said that the government will develop the top 50 tourist places in the country. This work will be done through Challenge mode in association with the states. States will also be given incentives related to performance for effective management of destinations.
Loan will be given for homestay:
The Finance Minister also announced that Micro Units Development and Refinance Agency Limited (MUDRA) loans would be provided for homestand. Special attention will be given to places related to the life and time of Lord Buddha in the development of tourist destinations.
Also, the government will work in partnership with the private sector to promote medical tourism and heel in India.
