MA Khan has welcomed the demand of saints regarding the ban on entry of Muslims in Mahakumbh. He has said that Muslims should stay away from the Maha Kumbh Mela and welcome the demands of the saints. In support of his point he gave the example of Mecca and Medina. He said that when the government of Saudi Arabia ensures that people of any religion other than Muslims cannot go there during Hajj in Mecca and Medina, then why would people of other religions other than Hindus go to Kumbh.
The saints have demanded that entry of Muslims in the Kumbh Mela should be banned. In such a situation, Muslim shopkeepers will also not be allowed to set up shop in the Kumbh Mela. Due to this reason, there is more uproar. Kumbh Mela lasts for 45 days and is the largest fair in the world, in which crores of people participate. Shopkeepers will suffer huge losses if they do not set up shop during this period. The Akhara has refused permission to Muslim shopkeepers to set up shop during the Kumbh. Many people are opposing it.
What did MA Khan say?
MA Khan said, “The whole of India is one, but every Indian respects his religion as much as he respects his country. When the Hajj program of the Muslim community goes on, only the Muslim community is there in Mecca and Medina of Saudi Arabia. Can enter. Because Hajj is a religious program and the government of Saudi Arabia does not allow any non-Muslim to enter Mecca and Medina, then if any person from any country opposes it. When Maha Kumbh, the festival of faith of Hindu brothers, comes in our country and the saints of Hindu society say that no Muslim should enter our Kumbh, then there is nothing wrong in it. Anyway, Muslims should not have anything to do with the Kumbh Mela. Because Mahakumbh is a festival of Hindu society, Muslims should welcome this demand of saints.
