Pappu Yadav, MP from Purnia Lok Sabha seat of Bihar, arrived in Jharkhand today for election campaign. Here he addressed an election rally in support of JMM. While talking to the media, he said that I am working to serve the public. Apart from this, he also responded to the issue of receiving death threats on Monday morning. He said, I have no personal fight with anyone, I talk ideologically. What should I do if I feel chilly, I will speak about my thoughts. It is the responsibility of the government to provide security or not.
Government's responsibility to provide security
After addressing the election rally in Jharkhand, Pappu Yadav said that I have seen a lot of ups and downs in the fight for social justice. I have no personal fight with anyone. I only talk about issues, it is the government's job to provide me security. He further said that I am working to serve the public. Regarding his own safety, he said that I tried several times to meet Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. These people are giving security to people who do not need security. Pappu Yadav said that I have talked to DG and SP in this regard. Despite receiving threats, I went to Mumbai and met actor Salman Khan and Baba Siddiqui's family there.
Received death threat in the morning
Actually, Pappu Yadav, MP from Purnia Lok Sabha seat of Bihar, had received death threat on Monday morning. This threat was given by Lawrence Bishnoi's brother through WhatsApp audio call. The audio of threat received by MP Pappu Yadav is also going viral on social media. Also, screenshots of WhatsApp related to audio calls have surfaced. However, before receiving the threat, Pappu Yadav had on October 21 itself demanded the Home Ministry to increase his security. Pappu Yadav also wrote a letter to the Home Ministry regarding this.
