It is being told that all these people had eaten porridge made from mango seeds, after which their health deteriorated. Of these, one woman died on Thursday while another woman died on Friday. The other 6 people have been admitted to the hospital for treatment, where their condition remains critical. At present everyone is being treated.

Giving information about the incident, the police said that the whole matter is of Mandipanka village of Daringbadi block. Here, information has been received regarding eating porridge made from mango seeds in the village. This porridge is made by boiling it in milk or water. Gadapur Sarpanch Kumari Malik said that one of the two women died during treatment at Mohana Community Health Center in Gajapati district on Thursday night. A Panchayat member said that another woman also fell ill and was taken to MKCG Medical College and Hospital on Friday morning, where she died.

At the same time, Medical Officer of the Health Center, Dr. Subrata Das has also given information about this matter. Dr. Subrata Das said that 6 other people who fell ill allegedly after eating porridge have been admitted to the hospital for treatment. He said that the condition of all the 6 people admitted in the hospital is critical. Dr. Subrata Das said, “All six people have been admitted to the hospital in critical condition.” We suspect that they fell ill due to food poisoning.
