Tricked kidnappers, pretended to be dead but life was saved, Yoga saved woman's life – Top News Bulletin

How important can yoga and meditation be in life? Can meditation and yoga be so effective that a person stops breathing to dodge kidnappers and the kidnappers leave him thinking he is dead? It sounds strange but one such case has been seen in Chikkaballapur district of Karnataka. In fact, a teacher teaching yoga here was allegedly kidnapped by four betel nut killers and she was also beaten up. During this time, when the woman's breathing suddenly stopped, the kidnappers, thinking that the woman was dead, threw her in the forest and ran away. The incident is of 24th October. The accused involved in this case were arrested on Thursday, after which this matter came to light.

Woman pretended to be dead, saved her life

Let us tell you that after being rescued, the victim told the police that after becoming unconscious in the attack, she pretended to be dead with the help of yoga, which saved her life. It was only when the accused threw the woman in the forest and ran away that the woman took help from some people of Dibbarballi and the police was informed about the incident. Chikkaballapur Superintendent of Police Kushal Chouksey said that the yoga teacher had a strained relationship with her husband. They have two children and are residents of Krishnarajapuram, Bengaluru. According to the police, Santosh, a friend of the victim's husband, is also a resident of Krishnarajapuram. Due to tension in her relationship with her husband, friendship started growing between the victim and her husband's friend Santosh.

Kidnapping was planned and executed.

There were frequent fights between Santosh and his wife Bindu regarding this matter. Upset by this, Bindu planned to kill the yoga teacher. In this series, Bindu contacted a person named Sathish Reddy, against whom some criminal cases are registered. Bindu gave him a betel nut to kill the victim. Along with giving cash to Santosh, Bindu also transferred the money to his bank account. As per the plan, Reddy met Archana in Krishnarajapurm and said that he was interested to learn yoga. After a few days both of them became acquainted. On October 24, in the name of showing a project, Santosh Reddy took the victim in his car near Chikkaballapur and attacked her along with three others.

Police arrested the accused

In this attack, the victim became unconscious and deliberately pretended to die. Santosh and his colleagues thought she was dead. After this Reddy and his friends removed the jewelery she was wearing and threw her in a pit in the Dibbarahalli forest and left from there. After they left, Bindu sought help from the local people and went from there to the police station and lodged a complaint. While investigating, the special team has recovered the car used in kidnapping. Also, Santosh Reddy and his other associates Nagendra Reddy, Ramana Reddy and Ravi Kumar have been arrested. Let us tell you that Santosh Reddy said that Bindu had given the contract to kill the victim. On this basis, Bindu has also been arrested by the police.
