An FIR has been lodged under section 24 (8) of KFA 1963 against the producer of the film Toxic, KVN Mastermind Creations, General Manager of Canara Bank, General Manager of HMT. This matter came to light last month when Karnataka Forest Minister Ishwar Khandare visited the spot and inspected the spot and expressed concern over such activities.

The shooting of this film of South superstar Yash is currently going on. Because of this, Karnataka Forest Department and Hindustan Machine Tools (HMT) have come face to face. It is alleged that hundreds of trees have allegedly been cut to prepare the set of the film.

Forest Minister wrote a letter in this matter

Ishwar Khandare, Minister of Forest, Ecology and Environment in the Government of Karnataka, has written a letter to the Additional Chief Secretary in this matter. In this, concern has been expressed over 599 acres of forest land. This land is now in the possession of HMT. In fact, in a gazette notification, these reserve forest lands were given to HMT without any formal notification.

Trees were cut without permission

Along with this, he claimed that a large amount of felling has been done in the forest for the film. This is a violation of the forest cutting limit. For this he has talked about comparison with satellite pictures. The minister said that if trees have been cut without permission, it is a case of violation of forest law.
