It is true that Tirupati Balaji is the most magnificent temple in the world. Lord Venkateswara's trust has no shortage of money. Then what was the need to reduce the price of ghee? Who would believe that there is a shortage of money for pure ghee offered to God? If someone had once said that there is a shortage of money for pure ghee, then donations worth crores of rupees would have come in a day.
Let me tell you some figures- Tirupati Balaji Trust has 11 thousand 329 kg gold, which is worth about 8.5 thousand crores rupees. This wealthy temple has a cash balance of 18 thousand 817 crores rupees. Every year, the income is 1200 crores rupees. There is an annual budget of more than five thousand crores rupees for the maintenance of the temple. Every day 3.5 lakh laddus are made for Lord Venkatesh's prasad. Even if the laddus are calculated to see how much profit was made by reducing the price of ghee, then this figure will not exceed 9-10 crores rupees.
Was low quality ghee used to save 9-10 crore rupees? Was the supplier of ghee changed to save 10 crore rupees in the world's richest temple? And such ghee was purchased which had cow fat and fish oil mixed in it. No one will believe this. The question is, was the excuse of rate found to change the supplier of ghee? Was money embezzled in giving the tender for ghee? Who are those because of whom the feelings of devotees were hurt, fat was mixed in the ghee used to make laddus?
