Rajat Sharma's Blog | Badlapur or complete revenge: encounter or shootout? – Top News Bulletin

There is a lot of politics going on in the encounter case of Akshay Shinde, who molested innocent girls in Badlapur. Since the Bombay High Court also expressed doubts over the encounter, the leaders of Mahavikas Aghadi are now targeting the Mumbai Police and the Eknath Shinde government. The father of Akshay Shinde, who was killed in the encounter, alleges that his son was murdered, and while hearing his petition, the Bombay High Court took a tough stand in this matter and made strong comments. The High Court asked that it is not acceptable that the accused snatched the pistol of the police and opened fire in the presence of four policemen. The court said that according to the police, the accused fired three shots, one bullet hit the police officer's leg, then where did the other two bullets go. Why did the police not shoot the accused in the leg or hand? Why did they aim directly at the head? Therefore, at first glance, it seems fishy.

However, the High Court also said that it does not want to say anything on the merit of this case at present, all the facts and evidence should be presented before the court on the next date. Since the investigation of this case has now been handed over to the CID, the High Court directed the police to hand over all the documents of the case to the CID. Since the court asked questions to the police, the leaders of the Mahavikas Aghadi surrounded the government on this issue, but the leaders and workers of the Mahayuti are also not worried about the allegations of the opponents. Eknath Shinde's Shiv Sena and BJP workers put up big posters, banners and hoardings on the streets of Mumbai. Advertisements were given in newspapers. In the advertisements given by Eknath Shinde's Shiv Sena, he has been described as Dharamveer. The BJP people have written in big words – Badlapura with Devendra Fadnavis's picture in the hoardings. That means the revenge is complete.

It was written on many hoardings that in the Mahavikas Aghadi government, the police used to collect money for the government but now the police takes account for the public, the difference is clear. AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi was in Mumbai. He said that it is clear from the BJP's posters and banners that the Maharashtra government no longer has faith in justice, it knows how to take revenge, it has taken revenge. Owaisi said that justice is done by the court, taking revenge is the work of gangsters. The questions asked by the Bombay High Court are absolutely correct. The police will have to prove in the court whether it was an encounter or a shootout? But the public sentiment in this case is completely different. Those who were protesting after being angry with the rape of small girls, demanding death penalty for the culprit, their hearts have got some relief, they are calm.

It is true that the court is not influenced by public sentiments but politics is definitely influenced. That is why the leaders of the opposition parties are trying to convince the people that the encounter was done to save a BJP supporter. They are also not openly speaking against the encounter. On the other hand, supporters of Eknath Shinde and Fadnavis are with the public sentiments. They are telling the people that the revenge is complete. From the moral point of view, both the opposition and the government are wrong. Now the matter is before the High Court. As per the rules, everyone should wait for the court's decision. But the problem is that the court's decision will come when it comes. Right now all the parties have to face the Maharashtra Assembly elections. (Rajat Sharma)
