The country is celebrating the 75th anniversary of Constitution Day today. Regarding this, a program of Congress was organized at Talkatora Stadium in Delhi. Rahul Gandhi was addressing this program when suddenly his mic got switched off. On which Congress leaders and workers started creating ruckus. Rahul's mic remained switched off for a long time, when it got fixed, he said that no matter how many times you switch off the mic, I will keep speaking.
I will keep speaking – Rahul Gandhi
Rahul further said that the mike of anyone who talks about Dalits and backward people is switched off just like that. No matter how many mics you switch off, I will keep speaking. During the program, Rahul Gandhi again reiterated the demand for caste census. He said that none of the top industrialists of the country is from Dalit, backward or tribal class.
will conduct caste census
Rahul said that recently we have started the work related to caste census in Telangana. The questions being asked in this have been decided together by the Dalits, backward people and the poor of the state. That means the people of Telangana have designed the format of caste census. This is a historic step. Wherever we have a government, we will conduct caste census on the same pattern.
'The Prime Minister did not read the Constitution'
He further said that the Constitution shows the path of non-violence. The Constitution is a book of truth and non-violence. The Constitution does not allow violence. He said that wherever our government comes, we will conduct caste census there. If the share of backward classes is more then why is their participation less? He further said that I guarantee that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has not read the book of the Constitution. The Constitution is not just a book, it is the thousands of years of thinking of India. It has the voices of great people like Gandhiji, Ambedkarji, Lord Buddha, Phuleji, but there is no voice of Savarkarji.
