Deoghar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi's plane suffered a technical glitch due to which he had to stay at Deoghar airport for some time. Due to a fault in the plane, there was some delay in his return to Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi was today on a visit to Jamui along the Jharkhand-Bihar border and had to return to Delhi from Deoghar Airport. But, at the last moment, there was a technical fault in his plane due to which he had to stay at Deoghar Airport for some time.
Took part in “Tribal Pride Day” celebration
Earlier, PM Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of several development projects worth Rs 6,640 crore from Jamui in Bihar on the occasion of the birth anniversary of tribal leader Birsa Munda. PM Modi participated in an event organized on the occasion of “Tribal Pride Day” in a remote village in Jamui district. From the year 2021, the birth anniversary of Birsa Munda is celebrated as “Tribal Pride Day”. He also unveiled a commemorative coin and postage stamp in Munda's honour.

Earlier, on the birth anniversary of Birsa Munda, PM Modi posted on social media that the ideals of Lord Birsa Munda ji are a source of pride and inspiration not only for the tribal but also for the youth of all communities of the country.
