Ratan Tata, the country's well-known businessman and honorary chairman of Tata Sons, is no more. He died on Wednesday 9 October at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. Ratan Tata has said goodbye to this world at the age of 86. Ratan Tata was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai a few days ago due to age related problems. Condolences are being expressed on the demise of Ratan Tata on behalf of all the celebrities and people of the country. In such a situation, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also expressed grief over the demise of Ratan Tata.

He provided stable leadership to one of India's oldest and most prestigious business houses. Additionally, his contributions went far beyond the boardroom. PM Modi said, 'The most unique aspect of Shri Ratan Tata ji was his passion to dream big and give something to others. He was at the forefront in pursuing issues like education, healthcare, sanitation, animal welfare. I remember my countless meetings with Shri Ratan Tata ji. When I was the Chief Minister of Gujarat, I used to meet him often. We used to exchange views on various issues. I found his ideas very useful. These meetings continued even after coming to Delhi.
