Chennai: There was panic in Trichy, Tamil Nadu after the news of hydraulic failure of a plane in the air was received. Ambulances were quickly deployed and hospitals were put on alert. During this time the plane kept circling in the air for a long time. However, later due to low fuel, the plane was landed and the passengers got a sigh of relief. Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin has also made a post on social media platform X regarding the issue of hydraulic failure of the plane. CM has congratulated the captain and crew of the plane for making a safe landing.

CM MK Stalin wrote in his post on Twitter, 'I am happy to hear that the Air India Express flight has landed safely. After receiving news of the landing gear issue, I immediately held an emergency meeting with officials over the phone. Directed them to implement all necessary safety measures including deploying fire engines, ambulances and medical aid. I have also directed the District Collector to ensure continued safety of all passengers and provide further assistance. My congratulations to the Captain and crew for the safe landing.
Hospitals were alerted
Let us tell you that till the time the plane was in the air, the hospitals around the airport were kept on alert. It is being told that there are 50 ambulances in the whole of Tiruchirappalli, out of which 20 ambulances were called to the airport and 10 of these were sent inside the airport. Apart from this, all preparations were made in the nearest government hospital. Apart from this, two private hospitals were also alerted. However, the plane continued circling in the air for a long time. Later, due to low fuel, the plane was landed, after which 141 passengers on board the plane were relieved.
