The Home Minister clarified that this decision has not been taken because of MUDA. It is worth noting that after the court order in the MUDA case, CM Siddaramaiah is facing Lokayukta police investigation. Opposition parties BJP and JDS as well as the petitioners who went to court against Siddaramaiah say that if Siddaramaiah remains on the CM post, the investigation may be affected, in such a situation, this case should be investigated by the CBI.
