After the important agreement between India and China, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has expressed hope that the talks will move forward. He said that he will try his best to take the talks further, but it will have to wait for some time. The Defense Minister made it clear that now the armies of both the countries have retreated from the LAC and along with the patrolling of the soldiers, agreements have also been made regarding grazing of animals.
Rajnath Singh said, “To resolve conflicts in certain areas along the LAC, talks have been taking place between India and China, both at the diplomatic and military levels. After the recent talks, a broad consensus was reached to restore the situation on the ground. This agreement is based on equality and mutual security. On the basis of this agreement, the withdrawal process will be almost complete. , that the matter should go beyond disengagement, but for that, we will have to wait a little longer.”
India wants peace with China through consensus
Rajnath Singh, while addressing the Indian Army soldiers at the headquarters of Gajraj Corps in Tezpur on the occasion of 'Bada Khana', appreciated the efforts of the soldiers in the peace process. “We want to continue this peace process through consensus,” he said. Our former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee had said that we can change friends, but not our neighbours. We want to maintain good relations with our neighbors and this is the clear policy of India.” He said that, however, sometimes such situations arise that one has to struggle to protect the country's borders, while the government is making every possible effort to maintain peace.
India and China have been talking for a long time
He said, “This is not a small thing, it is a big thing. We have achieved all this because of you. This mutual communication was possible because everyone is aware of your courage and bravery.” Singh said that North-East is very important from security point of view. He said, “As beautiful as this area is from natural point of view, it is equally challenging from geographical point of view.” The Defense Minister said that India and China have been talking for a long time to resolve the issues. He said, “This is a major border development on the LAC (Line of Actual Control). After our efforts, we have reached a consensus on the ground situation along the LAC.”
