New Delhi: Slavery has started to cool down in many states including Delhi-NCR. Meanwhile, the level of air pollution is also continuously increasing. According to the Meteorological Department, the effect of cold will start appearing in the entire North India including Delhi in the last week of October. After October 25, cold may increase in Delhi, Noida, Gurugram, Sonipat, Faridabad and Ghaziabad. After the next four days, a drop in day and night temperatures may be recorded. That means, by Diwali, the effect of cold will be visible in Delhi-NCR.

How will the weather be in Delhi today?

There was fog in many areas of NCR including Delhi and Noida on Tuesday morning. The weather department has predicted clear skies in Delhi on Tuesday and said the maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to be around 35 degrees Celsius and 20 degrees Celsius respectively.

There will be light to moderate rain here

The Meteorological Department said that there is a possibility of light to moderate rainfall at most places in West Bengal. There may be rain at isolated places in South and North 24 Parganas, East-West Medinipur and Jhargram on October 24. Light to moderate rainfall is likely over Howrah, Hooghly, Kolkata and Bankura districts and heavy rainfall at isolated places.

Meanwhile, the impact of a cyclonic storm may be visible. Strong wind speed ranging from 35-45 to 65 kmph is likely near the Bay of Bengal. By the evening of October 22, the wind is expected to increase from 55-65 to 75 km per hour. Strong wind speed ranging from 40-50 to 60 km per hour is blowing on the coasts of Odisha-West Bengal. From the night of October 24 to the morning of October 25, the speed can reach 100-110 km per hour gusting to 120 km per hour.
