Indian Navy diving team saved a woman from drowning in a river in Odisha. A woman fell into deep water and started drowning after a speedboat collided in the Mahanadi river near the Bali Yatra Maritime Trade Fair grounds. Then the Indian Navy's diving team noticed the drowning woman.

This woman had come to see the preparations for the Bali Yatra 2024 fair. Then the diving team deployed by the Eastern Naval Command in the river saw the woman drowning in water. The diving team immediately intervened in this matter.
Buddy carry technique used
The drowning woman was saved in time. The woman was carried to the nearest police assistance center over a distance of more than a kilometer using the buddy carry technique.
Medical treatment received on time
As an ambulance was not available, the team took him in an autorickshaw to SCB Medical College and Hospital, Cuttack, so that he could get timely medical treatment.
