New Delhi: India is now developing hypersonic missiles. An official said that the army is going to include more long-range rockets, cruise and ballistic missiles in its fleet. These include Nirbhay missiles with ranges of 400 km and 2,000 km and ballistic missiles like Pralay.
Long range missiles and rockets will be included in the army
Director General of the Indian Army's Artillery Regiment, Lieutenant General A Kumar, said the Army is also focusing on long-range rockets and is considering increasing the range of the indigenous Pinaka rockets to 300 kilometers in the future. The official said that the Indian Army has received approval from the Defense Acquisition Council to acquire Pralay ballistic missile and Nirbhay missile.

He said that we have taken several steps to modernize our training and administrative infrastructure. Due emphasis is being given to training on technology equipment to include Runway Independent RPAS, Loiter Munitions and Swarm Drones. So far, a total of 19 women officers have been commissioned into the Artillery Regiment. He said that all these women officers have been deployed in units with different equipment profiles and terrain conditions.
