The court of Sonbhadra district in Uttar Pradesh has sentenced a German citizen to severe punishment. The German national has been found guilty of fraud and falsifying the validity date of a visa after it expired. The court has sentenced the German citizen to 14 months in jail and a financial fine of Rs 500. Chief Judicial Magistrate Alok Yadav has given this decision on Monday. What is the whole matter?
Giving information about this case, senior prosecution officer Satish Verma said that in the year 2017, Sub Inspector Sitaram of the local intelligence unit had investigated Holger Eric Misch, a citizen of Berlin city of Germany. Investigation revealed that Holger's visa had already expired. Accused Holger had tampered with his visa and manipulated its validity date.
