'Drums and firecrackers should be banned in processions in front of mosques', Abu Azmi said on stone pelting incidents – Top News Bulletin

Mumbai: Samajwadi Party leader Abu Asim Azmi has given a big statement on the incidents of clashes and stone pelting during the Eid-e-Milad procession in Nandurbar, Maharashtra and Ganpati processions in other parts of the country. Speaking on these incidents, Azmi said that 'action has a reaction, whereas this should not happen.' He said that I have many times demanded from the government that drums and firecrackers should be banned in processions in front of mosques, but this is not happening. On the incidents of stone pelting, he said that this is the reason that action has a reaction.

'The government itself wants riots to happen'

Abu Azmi lashed out at the government and said that it itself wants riots to happen because elections are near and efforts are being made to promote polarization. He said, 'Today I have complained to the Minority Commission and have requested them to intervene in this matter (Nandurbar clash). The government and administration are sitting idle. The government itself wants riots to happen whereas this should not happen. Stones come in such a large quantity and there is a reaction to the action. Elections are near so the government is promoting such incidents to polarize.'

Azmi also spoke on the statement of Nitesh Rane

Abu Azmi also reacted to the statement of BJP leader Nitesh Rane. The SP leader said, 'Nitesh Rane said that give the police 24 hours leave and come into the field. A similar statement was given by Akbaruddin Owaisi. A case was registered against him but neither a case will be registered against Nitesh Rane nor any action will be taken. Earlier also he gave such statements but no action was taken because he has the support of the government. PAN card jihad, love jihad, land jihad, all this is nonsense. These people are defaming sacred words like jihad. They are only doing election politics.
