Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar are also present in the meeting. The situation regarding the CM is expected to become clear after the meeting. The name of BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis is at the forefront for the post of Chief Minister. According to sources, Fadnavis' name is almost finalized and only the official announcement is yet to be made.
Shinde said – there will be no problem in government formation

According to the information, Eknath Shinde may get many important ministries including the Urban Development Ministry. Whereas many important departments including Finance Ministry and Agriculture Ministry are being demanded from the Ajit Pawar faction. At the same time, many other ministries including the Home Ministry can go to BJP's account. According to sources, Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar can be made deputy CMs in the new government.
JP Nadda and Amit Shah meet leaders of Mahayuti
After BJP's poor performance in the recently held assembly elections in Maharashtra, Fadnavis seems to be the strongest candidate for the post of CM. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde indicated during a press conference on Wednesday that he was not in the race for the post. Shinde said he was “satisfied” and would not obstruct the decision-making process, indicating that the next chief minister would be from the BJP.
Let us tell you that in the assembly elections, the ruling Mahayuti alliance secured 230 seats out of 288. BJP emerged the largest party by winning 132 seats. Eknath Shinde's Shiv Sena and Ajit Pawar's NCP also performed well. Sena won 57 seats while NCP won 41 seats.
